Installation
Install the Asiyst CLI globally, configure shell autocompletion, and manage version updates.
Overview
The Asiyst CLI is distributed as a lightweight Node.js binary compatible with macOS, Linux, and Windows (PowerShell / WSL).
Package Manager Installation
# Using npm
npm install -g @asiyst/cli
# Using pnpm
pnpm add -g @asiyst/cli
# Using yarn
yarn global add @asiyst/cli
Running via npx (Zero Install)
If you prefer not to install global binaries:
npx @asiyst/cli validate
npx @asiyst/cli knowledge sync ./docs
Shell Autocompletion Setup
Enable tab-completion for commands and flags:
# Bash
asiyst completion bash >> ~/.bashrc
# Zsh (macOS default)
asiyst completion zsh >> ~/.zshrc
source ~/.zshrc
# PowerShell
asiyst completion powershell | Out-String | Invoke-Expression
Updating to the Latest Release
npm update -g @asiyst/cli
asiyst --version
