Troubleshooting
Diagnostics
Run automated health checks, extract diagnostic bundles, and inspect runtime telemetry.
Overview
The Asiyst diagnostic engine evaluates all integration layers—network latency, DNS resolution, credential validity, WebGL performance, and knowledge sync status—to identify root causes automatically.
Running CLI Diagnostics
Execute the automated diagnostic suite from your project directory:
asiyst diagnostics
Example output:
[Asiyst Diagnostics v2.1.0]
-----------------------------------------
✔ Node.js Runtime: v20.11.0 (Compatible)
✔ Network Latency to api.asiyst.com: 38ms
✔ Public Key Format: VALID (pk_live_...)
✔ Project Existence: VALID (proj_9f8a2b3c4d)
✔ Allowed Domains: MATCHED (https://mywebsite.com)
✔ Active Knowledge Sources: 8 (1,420 vectors)
✔ Avatar Model Bundle: REACHABLE (HTTP 200)
-----------------------------------------
All checks passed! No configuration errors detected.
Exporting Diagnostic Bundles
When opening a support inquiry, generate a redacted JSON diagnostic bundle:
asiyst diagnostics --output asiyst-diagnostics.json
The generated file includes system specifications, dependency versions, and non-sensitive configuration hashes while automatically scrubbing secret keys and passwords.
Browser Telemetry Extraction
In the client browser console, run:
await Asiyst.getDiagnostics();
This returns runtime state including:
- Active WebSocket connection state (
OPEN,CONNECTING,CLOSED)
- WebGL GPU renderer string and memory usage
- Latency history for the last 10 conversation turns
- Active session UUID and expiration timestamp
