Guidance Sessions
Track interactive tours, DOM element highlight walkthroughs, step completion funnels, and feature adoption.
Overview
A Guidance Session is an active, multi-step interactive tour where the assistant physically navigates the user across your application, highlights UI elements, scrolls to specific sections, and verifies user completion of each step.
What is a Guidance Session?
Unlike static tooltips, an Asiyst guided session is conversational:
- The assistant explains a feature and scrolls the viewport to target element
#api-key-input.
- The assistant highlights the button with an animated golden halo.
- The visitor performs the action (e.g., clicks "Generate Key").
- The SDK senses the DOM mutation and the assistant immediately congratulates the user and advances to step 2.
Step-by-Step Funnel Tracking
